Muddy Leek Introduces First Ever "Not Your Grandmother's Progressive Dinner" Event!
8631 Washington Blvd.
Culver City CA 90230
The vibrancy begins at 6:00 pm at Muddy Leek, where guests will be invited to start the evening with a delicious libation created by the restaurant’s resident Beverage Director, Sara Kay Godot. Called the Kafka, it features Corsair Whiskey made from quinoa topped with Green Bar Poppy Liqueur and a dash of orange zest water, accented with a delicious ice sphere infused with ginger syrup, orange blossom water and lemon thyme. The cocktails will also be supported by tasty hors d'œuvreslovingly crafted by Muddy Leek’s Chef Whitney Flood. Here is a sampling of their tasty wares. How about Lamb Merguez on crostini with garlic aioli, or Quinoa Fritters and grated apple Kosho? There’s also Cornbread with roast zucchini, goat cheese and lemon, alongside a Spiced Chicken Liver Mousse and five-spice cracker. Lastly, there’s the Orange Dusted Sweet Potato Fries to enjoy as well.
Believe it or not, that’s not all! At 7:30, guests will meander down the block to the Koplin Del Rio Gallery to take in some art, more snacks and another tasty cocktail. This time it’s The Bitter Virgin – a blend of Homestead Bourbon, Cardamaro, orange bitters and, of course, a cherry. Not only will there be a tasting of the bourbon, but guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the liquor as well as the art.
Then, the piece de resistance! Guests are invited to make their way down to Bar & Garden at 8:30 to have the final course of their meal, and oh, what a course it is. Muddy Leek will be sharing their world famous Chocolate Truffles, deliciously paired with Bar & Garden’s Quinta do Tedo Port. Guests are then invited to purchase the spirits they’ve had the opportunity to taste throughout the evening, pick up some of the barware, or just continue to make new friends and reflect on the fabulous evening they just experienced.
Tickets are $38.00, and they are available for purchase online at Not Your Grandmother's Progressive Dinner This dinner is limited to a total of 40 patrons, so get your tickets now!
