ThreadCrawl Shopping Event
ThreadCrawl is an exciting, high-energy seven-day fashion and shopping experience designed to support local retail in Los Angeles. From Monday, August 19th through Sunday, August 25th, shoppers are encouraged to embrace the unique styling of the Southern California fashion, design and culture with exclusive deals from retailers across the city. ThreadCrawl participants will have access to exclusive merchant discounts ranging from 15% to 70% at retailers such as New Era, Cerre, Jill Roberts, Civilionaire, Rebecca Minkoff, Confederacy, Kin, Alternative Apparel and Johnny Was, just to name a few. The average discount is 20% Off Everything in the store! In addition, multiple locations will provide consumers with complimentary refreshments, snacks, live entertainment and more. These “hubs” will be located in each participating neighborhood, at various stores.
One of ThreadCrawl’s sponsors, Lyft, the on-demand ridesharing app for cheaper, safer rides, is offering a $15 credit to any ThreadCrawler for their first ride using the downloadable app.
ThreadCrawl was founded by Los Angeles native and entrepreneur Joshua Jordison. Jordison, who has a background in event production, wanted to do something to invigorate retail, while making shopping a fun and immersive experience.
For every $17 ThreadCrawl ticket purchased, $2 will be donated to City of Hope (http://www.cityofhope.org/). City of Hope is recognized worldwide for its compassionate patient care, innovative science and translational research, which rapidly turn laboratory breakthroughs into promising new therapies.
