Salon Series

When: September 27, 2013
Price: $20
Where:
Parrish Art Museum

What:

This Fall the Parrish launches the Salon Series, concerts by award-winning young musicians from around the globe. Six Fridays of concerts designed to excite and introduce Classical repertoire have been co-programmed with Concert Artists Guild and Pro Musicis, two organizations that nurture and promote the world's finest concert musicians.

The New York Times declared Michael Brown, “a young piano visionary,” praising him for his “powerful technique and a vivid imagination.” An equally committed pianist and composer, Brown’s unique artistry often involves interweaving of classics with contemporary works and his own compositions. He has appeared on four continents and performed at Alice Tullly Hall, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Come out for the opening night of the Salon Series, on September 27th to see Michael Brown's performance! Advanced reservations recommended.
