Bridal Sign Up

Felicity Esquinas & Alanna Fenton

September 22, 2012 | Private Residence, La Jolla

Esquinas (right) wore a strand of pearls given to her by her mother on her 18th birthday. Fenton wore a diamond necklace of her grandmother’s given to her by her mother the night before the wedding.

Sweet Paper created personal framed seating assignments in the same calligraphy as the wedding invitations.

Sweet Little Photographs captured pictures of the brides at Windansea Beach.

Guests tossed roses from doily cones with satin cutouts of Scottie dogs, a tribute to the brides’ sorority’s mascot.

Piatti Ristorante & Bar, a favorite of the couple, catered the reception.

Both brides wore Paloma Blanca gowns from Here Comes the Bride.

The Couple
The pair met through their sorority at Otterbein University in Ohio. Fenton was the president of Kappa Phi Omega, and Esquinas
was a pledge.

The Venue
The event took place at Esquinas’ mother’s home. “Having the ceremony and reception all in one place was fantastic,” she says.

The Details
The brides made wands with jingle bells that guests waved during cocktail hour. The bells were a tribute to Esquinas’ late aunt, who always gave her a jingle bell for Christmas.

The Party
In lieu of traditional wedding cake, the brides opted for tiramisu from Piatti’s Ristorante & Bar. The dessert arrived at each table with sparklers.
