Bridal Sign Up

Kim Fitzpatrick & Tyler Davis

August 18, 2012 | Beaulieu Garden, Rutherford

The bride chose a Monique Lhuillier gown from Bridal Galleria in San Francisco. “I wanted something traditional that wouldn’t take away from the scenery,” she says. The groom opted for a Bonobos suit with a Salvatore Ferragamo tie.

Kathleen Deery designed the florals. Green Annabelle hydrangeas, lisianthus, white moonlight roses and lilies of the valley made up the bride’s bouquet.

Perfect Endings made the towering cake.

“The romantic light fixtures added to the warm and pretty look,” says planner Laurie Arons.

The 340 guests danced to the Durell Coleman Band.

The Couple
Davis and Fitzpatrick fell for each other before they’d even met. Set up by their best friends, they got to know each other during a month of emails and long, nightly phone calls before uniting in San Francisco for the Outside Lands music festival.

The Venue
Fitzpatrick had her heart set on a Beaulieu Garden wedding since her brother married there 15 years earlier.

The Details
The bride surprised the groom, a pediatric dentist, with a tooth-shaped groom’s cake dressed in a Dartmouth jersey (where he’d played basketball) and Sperry Top-Siders, his trademark shoe.

The Party
The celebration culminated with an after-party that took over Thomas Keller’s ad hoc.
