Bridal Sign Up

Marisa Jorgensen & Ezra Callahan

June 9, 2012 | Private Estate, Malibu

Jorgensen, in a Monique Lhuillier gown from the L.A. flagship, surprised Callahan with a life-size Viktor Benês cake of the Stanley Cup to celebrate his favorite hockey team, the Los Angeles Kings.

Hidden Garden peonies and roses made up the bride’s bouquet.

Bellinis were served in honor of the couple’s dog by the same name.

Revelry furniture decorated the courtyard.

The Butter End Cakery created an elegant cake.

Bruce Springsteen’s former private chef, Dave Rubell, prepared dinner.

The Couple
Callahan and Jorgensen met while working at Facebook. Callahan was one of the first 20 employees at the company.

The Venue
The ceremony took place in a garden at a private Malibu estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The couple wanted their wedding to bewarm and elegant, but not over-the-top.

The Details
“Our good friend officiated, adding a personal touch to the ceremony,” Jorgensen says.

The Party
The cocktail hour reflected the couple’s passion for food and drinks, as guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres like lobster corn dogs and spicy poke tuna on wonton crisps. Tables made from vintage wine barrels served as charcuterie and wine tasting areas.
