Bridal Sign Up

Nicole Moorhead & Andrew Doan

July 14, 2012 | Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, South Lake Tahoe

The bride wore a trumpet silhouette dress by Matthew Christopher from Haute Bride.

Doan and his groomsmen all wore Calvin Klein tuxedos.

The reception channeled Old Hollywood, as evidenced by neutral La Tavola linens and Brown Paper Design flowers.

The menu featured a poker chip as a centerpiece.

Dramatic light poured in through the dining room windows as the sun set over the lake.

Sheofsky, Paper Sky Productions and Taryn Leach Events & Stationery collaborated on the program.

The Couple
After proposing to Moorhead at the top of Twin Peaks, Doan took his new bride-to-be for a limo ride through San Francisco, capping off the memorable occasion at the Foreign Cinema to celebrate with friends and a bottle of Dom Pérignon.

The Venue
The Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, renowned for its annual celebrity golf championship, was the perfect place to host the Old Hollywood-themed wedding.

The Details
Inspired by the bride’s fascination with Mad Men and its natty assemblage, planner Kelsey Sheofsky put an emphasis on fine points like plush lounge furniture from Hartmann Studios, a cigar booth and a photo corner with 1960s-style props.

The Party
Following a dinner featuring a carving station for roast beef as well as mixed berry, peach and walnut pies from Mission Pie, DJ Sol spun a blend of contemporary and classic rifts.
