Bridal Sign Up

Sarah Dolgen & Solomon Shaftel

May 26, 2013 | Herringbone, La Jolla

The bride wore an Elizabeth Fillmore gown and veil designed by Erin Cole, both from Erin Cole Couture Bridal in Costa Mesa.

Personal touches, like customized yamakas, added to the intimacy of the occasion.

Patricia Navarro of Floral FX designed the bouquets.

Sarah is welcomed to the Shaftel family.

The groom sported an Etro pinstripe suit.

A vintage feel presided over the decor at Herringbone.

The bride’s Jimmy Choos and sparkly accessories complemented her elegant dress.

The wedding ceremony took place at Temple Beth Israel in Heritage Park.

Talk about chemistry! Ophthalmology resident boy met dream girl while she was running Body Sculpt by Sarah LLC, and they soon hit it off.
Herringbone restaurant, complete with a gluten-free menu and custom cocktails named Sol and Sarah, hosted the uniquely spirited reception.
Solomon stormed the stage, putting his own spin on Hall & Oates’ “Sara Smile” (naturally), while One Drop Redemption gave “Hava Nagila” a reggae twist.
