For many couples, the big-day beverage offerings are just as important as the cake—if not more. Answering the call for chic spirits is new-on-the-scene company Femme Du Coupe, which is replacing standard “red or white” options with bespoke cocktails. Based on the client’s preferred poison and wedding theme, mixologist Revae Schneider concocts custom sips (twists on Prohibition-era cocktails are hot for the upcoming season) and coordinating bar concepts. “Having signature beverages is something special for the bride and groom,” says Schneider. “It’s an extension of their unique wedding experience.” Cocktails can be premade and then shaken on-site or mixed from scratch at the wedding. And if your nuptials are in Chicago, Schneider herself can style the bar, ensuring the glassware and props are spot on.
