The ceremony’s nontraditional setup included Chiavari chairs around a circular chuppah.

Events by Francesca transformed the ballroom with round tables, royal tables, and French lace and beige satin linens by Nüage Designs.

Parrish Designs designed this opulent floral centerpiece (one of three variations) with roses, hydrangeas and orchids in blush, white and pale pink, accented by hanging crystals.

The Couple
Introduced through family in Miami, Diana and Edwin dated long-distance before Diana moved to Chicago. Edwin later proposed at South Pointe Park, the same spot that the couple shared their first date and kiss.

The Details
The outdoor ceremony was held in the hotel’s Country Club courtyard, where the aisle was decorated with romantic groupings of tall glass cylinders with floating candles and cascading white orchids. The circular chuppah was accented with a crystal chandelier that hung from the center.

The Party
In a nod to the couple’s heritage, the reception featured a Russian band flown in from New York. Place settings included shot glasses for vodka and tequila; guests danced in favor-provided flip-flops.
