Bridal Sign Up

Elvira Venditti & Kent Pearce

October 26, 2013 | Caribbean Club, Grand Cayman

Bridesmaids carried bouquets of pink roses and white hydrangeas with draped pearls, while the bride carried cream roses and white calla lilies accented with feathers and two lockets containing photos of her late father, gifted by her cousin.

The bride stunned in a Bliss by Monique Lhuillier gown in Chantilly lace from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. The groom donned a Hugo Boss suit.

Candles with dainty lace shades were used as centerpieces for the black-and-cream tablescapes.

Tablescapes featured votives, small vases of pale pink roses and art deco-style table numbers.

The lace-fondant cake from Carousel Creative Catering featured three tiers of red velvet cake and buttercream filling.

The Couple
Cayman Islands locals Kent and Elvi were introduced at a beach barbecue by a mutual friend, who later served as Kent’s best man. Kent proposed on an exhilarating jetpack adventure flight while friends and family watched from the beach below, waiting to celebrate the couple.

The Details
The reception was held at the Caribbean Club’s LUCA Restaurant, transformed into a vintage, art deco scene designed by Ann Ogden of Uniquely Annz.

The Party
Guests gathered from as far away as Australia and South Africa, goofed off in a photo booth and left with local pepper-jelly favors, along with a donation to the Canadian Prostate Cancer Association.
