The Couple
Ivy and Jason met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, and later, Jason chose Ivy’s 30th birthday to get down on one knee. After a day of pampering, Ivy came home to a surprise party, along with a special toast and proposal.

The Details
The couple wanted to create a modern-day castle look for their nuptials, and chose the theater’s classic ambience. Four generations of family were present, and the groom’s best man—his best friend since third grade—gave a touching toast.

The Party
In lieu of traditional dinner music, the couple played upbeat music throughout the meal to encourage dancing early on. At the end of the night, guests were transported to hotels in trolleys, while the couple jetted off to a romantic getaway in St. Lucia.
