THE PARTY The InterContinental Chicago hosted Black Ensemble Theater’s The Legacy Continues gala. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner and a performance by Black Ensemble’s signature live band, which played hit songs like “Try a Little Tenderness.” THE PLAYERS This year’s Honorary Host Committee included Diane and Louis Carr, Laura M. Ricketts and Langdon D. Neal. THE SCENE The event raised $200,000 for Black Ensemble’s educational outreach programs, and the evening was capped off with a decadent dessert station and take-home bags of Garrett Popcorn. Photos by Slawek Chrzaszcz
