Taking his family to the pier, photographer Rolour Garcia came across “Lynx,” a 122-foot square topsail schooner. “It looked uninteresting at first, but when I saw the two Jet Skis going in the opposite direction, I took a shot just before they crossed each other, just to put in perspective how massive the tall ship is,” he says. “The buildings in the background, the clouds and the details in the rigging lines of the boat make the image even more interesting.” Managing to capture just how tall the tall ships are, Garcia also captured the uniqueness of the festival.
