A Valentine’s-inspired party at Tootsies had fashionable couples cruising the catwalk for Dec My Room—a nonprofit founded by Susan Plank and her daughter Kendall that personalizes the hospital rooms of very sick kids.
The posh pairs participating in the Love’s in Fashion event included chairs Gina Gaston and Mario Elie, and Holly Waltrip and Mike Long. Also working the runway in looks from Tootsies and Suitsupply: Millette and Haag Sherman, Megan Sutton-Reed and Chris Reed, and dozens more.
Heisman Trophy-winner Johnny Manziel, a surprise guest, strutted his stuff with 6-year-old cancer survivor Charlie Dina, calling himself the kiddo’s “biggest fan.” The two have been pals since 2012, when Manziel supported the young Aggie hopeful through chemo and radiation. Dec My Room decorated Dina’s hospital room during his treatment. Manziel received a high-five from Houston Texans COO Cal McNair, while Texans GM Rick Smith and wife Tiffany also modeled during the event. –Photos by Daniel Ortiz
