Jessica Goldstein is a glamour girl at heart. But the Atlanta-based hairstylist is also a self-proclaimed “extension lover and makeup enthusiast.” Growing up, Goldstein took notes from the pros, tuning in to the Style Network, sketching the outfits she saw and drawing hairstyles to go with each. Now the ombre specialist is bringing her creations to life at Jessica Goldstein Salon (located inside of Buckhead’s Sola Salon Studios), where she’s no stranger to the chic elite. (Her clients include local notables like Spanx founder Sara Blakely and The New Atlanta’s Emily Lipman.) But the color maven isn’t resting on her tresses: This summer she’ll travel the country on a follicle fact-finding mission. “I’m planning to visit my favorite stylists on the East and West Coast[s] to bring new techniques to Atlanta,” she says. When she’s not working, Goldstein is enjoying lazy Sundays in her fave ’hoods. “Sunday Fundays are my time to relax before another crazy week. Nothing’s better than grabbing brunch in Inman Park, then walking the BeltLine over to the Highlands for a little shopping.” And by night, she’s hitting the town with her besties. “I love a good girls’ night at Barcelona [Wine Bar],” she proclaims. “Sometimes a fun night out with great friends is all you need to feel pretty!” Here, Goldstein dishes on her go-to get-pretty products.
