Most Eligible Atlantans 2013: Where Are They Now?

In the past year since the Most Eligible Atlantans 2013 graced our pages, they’ve fallen in love, scored job promotions, bought homes and made stunning new achievements—with some even landing newfound fame! Read on to find out what your fave local singles have been up to around town and beyond—and which ones are still looking for love.

Paul Hourigan
Counsel, sports and entertainment marketing partnerships, The Coca-Cola Company

It didn’t take long for this marketing pro to find love after being picked for Most Eligible—in fact, he found it at his photo shoot when he met now-girlfriend Harrison Sapp (click through to the next slide!). Hourigan says she’s “the best thing that has ever happened to me.” Now that’s a success story!

Harrison Sapp
Leasing consultant, The Finger Companies

Sapp says her first time meeting Hourigan—during their Most Eligible photo shoots—wasn’t exactly ideal: “He walked in just as they were yanking out my hair extensions!” However, the two have been inseparable ever since, with plans to celebrate their one-year anniversary this month after they return from a swanky vacay to France.

Brittiney Wall
Executive assistant, Barclays Capital

Bubbly brunette Wall is going places. Since hanging up her pom-poms after repping the Atlanta Falcons at the NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii earlier this year, this single gal has made the move to Midtown and continues to look for her perfect match. “I could find Mr. Right Now, but I’d rather wait on Mr. Forever,” she says. “I’m in no rush!” Amen, sista!

Tim Charleston
Physical therapist, Piedmont Hospital and Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta

This dreamy fitness buff has certainly kept busy since last year—on top of his physical therapist gig, he also bought a house and was “bit by the fashion/modeling bug.” But he still has big goals ahead: like volunteering to help build homes in Honduras and, of course, finding his Mrs. Right.

Marissa May
Senior publicist, Allied Integrated Marketing

It’s no surprise that this sexy PR pro didn’t stay single for long—along with a job promotion and a packed social cal, her current boyfriend, whom she met shortly after being featured, “stole my heart from day one, and we’ve had some great experiences together,” she says. Spot her at Sprinkles, True Food Kitchen and ROC House Fitness Spa.

Christen Wrensen
Director of recruiting, Jackson & Coker

Wrensen’s got no short list of accomplishments since gracing our pages last year—she got a job promotion, a beau, a new role on the board of the Teddy Bear Crusade fundraiser and a new ride to boot. “Turns out that a great time to negotiate the purchase of a car is [when] you’re featured in JEZEBEL’s Most Eligible,” she jokes.

Steve Messer
Region director, Bacardi USA Inc.

When asked about his current love life, Messer says he’s still looking for the right one—“she probably wouldn’t have allowed me to wear that suit for the photo shoot!” he quips. He’s currently enjoying his first Buckhead home and hanging out at places like King + Duke, Hal’s and Big Sky Buckhead.

Kelly Wallace
Marketing manager, YEAH! Burger

While Wallace continues kicking butt as YEAH! Burger’s marketing manager, this Buckhead beauty has added some new additions to her plate: namely, a successful fundraising campaign with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (her team raised almost $30,000!) and a relationship that’s been going strong for almost a year.

Joseph Wilson
Trial attorney, Cruser & Mitchell LLP

“My new nicknames around the office for a few months were ‘Mr. JEZEBEL’ and ‘cover boy,’” says Wilson about his Most Eligible status. Since then, he’s continued his community work with Kappa Alpha Psi and Emerging 100 of Atlanta, and landed a gig at a new law firm. As for his love life: “I’m currently dating a special lady,” he says.

Lindsey Licht
Clinical sales specialist, Ironwood Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Since her feature last year, this bright-eyed beauty boasts a new obsession with FlyBarre workouts, a puppy named Munson—oh, and she’s off the market. “I’m dating someone special,” she gushes. You can find Licht at restos like St. Cecilia and King + Duke.

Ben Ingram
Broadcaster, Braves Radio Network

As expected, this sports-radio pro is still taking care of business, though now he’s got a new relationship to work into his busy calendar. “She’s been able to put up with my schedule,” he says, “which is pretty impressive.” Ingram’s now posted up in a new Buckhead spot and says he’s enjoyed “being recognized for something other than my job.”

Kelly Travis
Account executive, Alliance Marketing Partners

Shortly after being featured in our issue last August, Travis jumped from magazine pages to the TV screen as a contestant on season 18 of ABC’s The Bachelor, along with our cover girl, Andi Dorfman. Now, Travis, who says “she’s fluent in snark,” with the tweets to prove it, is happy with a new gig and a new man to boot.

Maria Taylor
SEC Network talent, ESPN

She may still be a sizzlin’ single, but Taylor’s career is on fire. Thanks to a job opp with ESPN’s newly minted SEC Network, she’s made the move to Charlotte, N.C., to cover new ground as a reporter, host and analyst. “Right now I have to dedicate myself to the opportunities that have been placed in front of me,” she says, “but when I’m ready to settle down, I know the right guy will be there!”

Brian Huband
Major accounts district manager, ADP

Look out, ladies: This blue-eyed cutie is still on the market. While Huband says there’s “no relationship to report,” he’s keeping busy through his work at ADP; planning a trip to Europe in the near future; and hanging at spots like Gunshow, Tomo Japanese Restaurant, Community Q BBQ and Antico Pizza.

Tia Jarvis
Bartender, The IVY Buckhead; and promotional model, Kill Cliff

This bombshell says she was “extremely honored” to be a 2013 Most Eligible. Since finishing her stint as an Atlanta Hawks cheerleader in May, Jarvis has made big moves—to Chicago! This still-single gal recently headed north and plans to audition for the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Crew.

Geoffrey Greene
Realtor, Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty

Everything’s been coming up roses for this real-estate stud since his Most Eligible feature, it seems. “I did receive three dozen roses for my birthday this week,” he reveals, “and I remain optimistic about love in the future.” Catch Greene out and about at Saltyard, Barcelona Wine Bar and Henry’s Midtown Tavern.

Kelsey Grubbs
Associate category manager for alcoholic beverages, RaceTrac Petroleum Inc.

Grubbs dedicates her Most Eligible feature to her father, Glenn Grubbs, who passed away last year. “[He] showed me what love should be—he loved my mother unconditionally—so I knew exactly what I was looking for.” She since found success in life and love, with a new RaceTrac Petroleum gig as well as a new man.

Webb Worthington
Development manager, SWH Residential Partners

Like many of his fellow 2013 Most Eligibles, one of the biggest developments in Worthington’s life in the past year has been becoming a homeowner—he closed on a Midtown condo in May. While he’s still looking for love, “I know that whenever she’s introduced to my life, I’ll have zero uncertainty that she’s ‘the one,’” he says.
