“This collection was inspired by the easy glamour of the French Riviera in the late 1960s—inspired by Romy Schneider’s character in La Piscine,” said designer Tory Burch of her spring/summer 2014 collection, which made its debut during New York Fashion Week.

With its garden-party pastels, botanical prints plucked fom Burch’s own Hamptons estate and simple shift shapes, the clothing called to mind long summer days spent seaside in Southampton or the Côte d’Azur. The look was finished with lust-worthy metallic silver shoes and perfectly parted hair.
