The Foundation for Mitochondrial Medicine’s third annual fundraiser included plenty of conversation, funky ’70s soft rock and a cool gallery. Themed Hope Flies: Catch the Cure, the event raised $220,000 to benefit mitochondrial disease research and new treatments. David and Paula Dickey, Margaret and Chris Martin, and Virginia and Matt Maguire were major players in the fundraiser, which attracted more than a whopping 500 people. Guests sipped on refreshments thanks to Georgia Crown, nibbled on Endive catering, and dusted off their dancing shoes for hit after hit by Yacht Rock Revenue. Photography by Jen Pair
