A southern gentleman is coming to town, Gentleman Jack that is. On Thursday May 9 at 7 p.m., BLT Steak at the Betsy will host a special whiskey dinner featuring the venerable Jack Daniels Brand’s product line. The four-course feast, created by BLT Steak chef de cuisine Matt Ratcliffe matches courses with sipping whiskeys; while the evening gets underway with a featured cocktail, the “Papa Doble Rye”, and hors d’oeuvres, in the Betsy’s exclusive and beautiful B Bar space. Priced at $100 per person exclusive of tax and gratuity, the evening will be enhanced by the presence of Michael J. Ring, the Jack Daniels Whiskey brand champion, who will discuss the nuances and details of the brand’s signature spirits being served that evening: unaged Tennessee Rye Jack Daniels; Tennessee Honey Whiskey; Gentleman Jack; Jack Daniels Tennessee sour mash whiskey and Jack Daniels single barrel.
