Wellness Well Done

A sign of the times perhaps, The St. Regis Bal Harbour recently introduced the Wellness Program for hotel guests and locals alike.

Though steaks and stone crabs still denote luxury cuisine, the menu at the resort now extends to healthful choices. In the Atlantico restaurant alone, chefs offer gluten-free options, as well as a juice bar, greens and other superfoods. Several cocktails come packed with fresh herbs and organic liquors for less guilt (it’s a vacation, after all), and mini bars, whether at suites or pool cabanas, may be custom-stocked with healthier delicacies like raw banana-flax bars, nutritional shakes and dark chocolate.

Popular fitness trainers Tracie and Chris Vlaun have also been brought on board to whip guests into shape with their fun, signature classes and boot camps mixing dance, weights, yoga and cardio en plein air. If that doesn’t suffice, the fitness center’s Technogym machines should do the trick. Following the Vlauns’ guided meditation, guests can relax further at the Remède Spa.
