Some 350 film lovers gathered at the Hall of State in Fair Park for the Dallas Film Society’s annual fall fundraising event, The Art of Film. The highlight of the evening was an intimate conversation between renowned film critic Elvis Mitchell and actor Val Kilmer, who was presented with the Dallas Star Award. Batman Forever himself was the epitome of a grateful guest as he visited each table during dinner to say hello to guests such as co-chairs Kate Rose Marquez, Jennifer Houser and Mersina Stubbs, Jennifer and Coley Clark, Laurie Duncan, James Faust, Allan and Lynn McBee, and others.Photography by Tim Valis and Lindsay Jones
