A big moment in Dallas, with some big fashion stars!

Fair Park, Dallas

Vogue’s Anna Wintour and Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld kept a cool face despite being swarmed by photographers while sitting in the backseat of a black vintage Cadillac convertible just before debuting Lagerfeld’s Coco Chanel-inspired film, The Return. The movie, held in a makeshift ’50s drive-in theater complete with vintage signage, polished cars and concession stands, was a teaser to the immediately following Métiers d’Art traveling fashion show. We only wish they’d shared a margarita and a bucket of popcorn while they watched Geraldine Chaplin portray Mademoiselle Chanel as she reopened her couture house in 1954.
