Moll Fever

Airwaves celeb Moll Anderson moves to Dallas with a swish of Southern glamour and charm.

 Moll Anderson

After only a week in Dallas, Moll Anderson was feted at the Rosewood Crescent Hotel and Bistro 31. She wasted no time locating the Christian Dior store and landing the penthouse atop The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton. She’s even found the perfect spot for her Emmy and three books. In a matter of days, she’s recorded her XM radio show and been approached by half a dozen charities. But what’s made the 53-year-old decorator and lifestyle expert happiest? “I love the view of downtown Dallas from The Ritz!” she says with a good amount of Tennessee twang. “What’s that tower with the ball on it? I love it. We have the same one at home in Knoxville, so I feel at home.”

Anderson, whose first name is short for Molly, followed her company-owning husband, Charlie, here last month. The self-described “blended-family mom” of four is known as a lifestyle expert—her books are about decorating and entertaining. And now that she’s brought her own glam life and style here, Dallas is going to figure large in her work. “What I do with my books and show is talk about my life,” Anderson says excitedly. “Entertaining, decorating, love. ... So now that I’m in Dallas, that’s what I’ll talk about.”

We wonder what she’ll do next week.

Anderson’s Nots
Wearing sweats when your husband comes home, ever thinking black is out, giving up, unlivable furniture, unused china and crystal, unburned candles, that my dog, Sophie, won’t live forever
