Cochon Island brings together five chefs and five pigs plus distillers, notable media and food champions to celebrate responsible farming and the spirit of Aloha. Each chef team will be challenged to prepare a menu created from the entirety of heritage breed pigs for an audience of pork-loving epicureans. Participating chefs include: Mauna Kea Beach Hotel’s Chef Peter Pahk; Bistro Molokini’s Chef Michael Young; Pili Hawaii’s Chef Mark Noguchi; Celebrity Chef Lee Anne Wong; and Town & Uptown Events’ Chef Ed Kenney.

Host Chef Peter Pahk will curate some of the finest flavors the islands have to offer at this first-ever, pork-centric Island event. In addition to the pork feast, guests will also experience a TarTare Bar, sustainable seafood samples, the Perfect Manhattan Bar, Chupito (Mezcal) Bar, the famous Cheese Bar, beer by Anchor Brewing, pork-spiked desserts and more.

The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is offering special room rates for Cochon Island attendees. The offer starts at $275/night for a Mountain View room to $399/night for Ocean View or $499/night for a Deluxe Ocean room.
