THE PARTY At Waikīkī’s leading hotel, Halekulani, international and local glitterati arrived in full force to celebrate the Middle Kingdom for HIFF’s much-awaited China Night, sponsored in part by Modern Luxury Hawai‘i. The soiree honored Chinese media mogul and veritable living legend Yue-Sai Kan. To top it off, Kan was accompanied by Miss Universe China Diana Xu. The evening’s other heat seeker was Daniel Henney, a top male model who’s become one of Korea’s hottest actors. Adding to the evening’s allure, Neiman Marcus sent out a bevy of models in gorgeous evening wear. (Xu modeled a few stunners, too.)
