From a legendary entertainer to an award-winning lecturer, an impressive lineup of talent will take the spotlight in Orange County during the week ahead. Here’s our top-five list of can’t-miss performances.
1. An Evening in Buenos Aires
On Aug. 14, award-winning lecturer Jacqueline Hahn takes attendees on a trip to the Paris of South America as part of the Bowers Summer Nights program. 2. Gala of the Stars
Dancers from the American Ballet Theatre, the New York City Ballet, the Czech National Ballet and Staatsballett Berlin are among the internationally praised talents who go en pointe alongside Festival Ballet Theatre’s resident company during the annual production on Aug. 15. 7PM. 4. Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons

5. The New Swan String Quartet: Mozart Monday
As part of the summer New Swan Shakespeare Festival, the L.A. Philharmonic is making a trip south on Aug. 18 to perform a selection of Mozart’s most aurally inspiring works. 8PM. Tickets from $45.
