Fall in Love With the DJ: Who'll Be Spinning at Tomorrow Night's Best of the Bay Party

Meet the six beat masters appearing at San Francisco's event of the year.

(1 of 6)
DJ King Most

Main gig: Is a student at SF State, but DJs weddings every so often and closed out last year’s Best of the Bay Party
Style: Takes the classics and mashes them up with the new hits, all blended together with some soul
Sampling: Check out his soundcloud page, personal favorites are his remix of the Rolling Stones’ “Under My Thumb”, First Night, and Laid Back Radio mixes.
Set Time: 5:45–7 p.m. on the main stage, so he’ll be greeting you as you arrive.

DJ Timoteo Gigante
Main gig: DJing, has been since the early 1990s—which basically makes him a veteran
Style: Some Motown, some Ella Fitzgerald mixed with a hip hop beat; expect throwbacks
Sampling: Everybody dance, clap your hands, claps your hands!
Set Time: 5:45–7:30 p.m. in the VIP lounge

DJL!

Main gig: Music producer/remixer with over twenty years experience and clients ranging from the SF Symphony to Google and Paypal, not to mention this is his fifth time DJing the Best Of the Bay party.
Style: Reagee and dubstep
Sampling: Check out his remix of a Bob Marley classic  or this gem
Set Time: 7:45–9:15 p.m. in the VIP lounge

(4 of 6)
DJ Deevice

Main gig: Hosts the Gridlock radio show on Thursday from 12pm–2pm. Dial in to 87.9 or check out the website
Style: Mixing up popular indie hits like Toro Y Moi and more house artists like Grown Folk. Will definitely help get you through the early afternoon slump at work.
Sampling: Check out a sampling of his radio playlists here
Set Time: 8:45–9:45 p.m. at the main stage—time to start dancing.

(5 of 6)
DJ Niall

Main gig: Owns Four Leaf Entertainment, which DJs special events all over the city
Style: Party music—need we say more?
Sampling: Said he wanted to play this at his next event on his Facebook page. I think we can all agree we’d be okay with that.
Set Time: The final VIP lounge set of the evening from 9:30–11 p.m.

(6 of 6)
DJ Cams

Main gig: DJing is a full time gig for this kid, so let’s let his promotional video speak for him
Style: A little bit of everything—some classic pop (“Twist & Shout”), some rap, some house, some Adele. No one will be disappointed.
Sampling: His soundcloud is chalk full of examples, but you’re best of with his Coachella 2013 sampler
Set Time: Closing out the night from 10-11p.m. on the main stage. But fear not, he’ll also be playing the afterparty at the W Hotel.
