The Spirit: Anchor Hophead Vodka ($30)
S.F.’s iconoclastic distillery fostered the nation’s rye whiskey and gin trends, so jumping on the vodka bandwagon is uncharacteristic. But its new hop-infused vodka is sui generis. Redolent of an IPA but as clean as gin, it’s smooth enough to drink straight.

The Cider: Crispin Cider Company Bird on a Wire ($5)
Now owned by MillerCoors, Crispin Cider is still churning out boutique apple fizz like this number, fermented with various yeasts, aged in whiskey barrels, and finished with honey. Like the best apples, it’s crisp, round, and not too sweet.

The Scoop: Boozy Fountain Drinks
The Ice Cream Bar serves boozy soda fountain creations such as the beer-laced Rebound Fling. The Corner Store has hard milkshakes, and now Trick Dog offers Fernet ice cream. Each is irresistible, but may come at a high cost: your self-respect.
