Chef, restaurateur and author Hugh Acheson will lead a discussion at the Basalt Regional Library on June 22.

1. FOOD & WINE/JAS Combo Night, June 20
Experience the best of music and food with this all-inclusive package. Begin your evening with a Reserve B ticket to the Diana Krall performance at the Benedict Music Tent at 8:30PM, followed by FOOD & WINE’s Last Bite Dessert Party (hosted by Top Chef’s Gail Simmons and featuring a decadent spread of desserts by famed pastry chefs, cocktails and late-night snacks) at Hotel Jerome at 10PM. 2. Basalt Regional Library Fundraiser, June 22

Join James Beard Foundation-award winner and Top Chef judge Hugh Acheson as he presents the talk, “The New Home Economics.” The topic of conversation will focus on localized food security, and how school culinary and garden curricula can provide a healthier, sustainable future for children and the planet. 3. The Full Monty, June 26

Theatre Aspen’s season launches with the production of The Full Monty. The opening party, sponsored by Aspen Magazine and taking place prior to the evening’s show, features heavy apps from Mawa’s Kitchen and tasty cocktails from Tito’s Vodka in the theater’s lobby. 4. Anderson Ranch Lunchtime Auctionette, June 27

Score original artwork (likely at a great price) by ranch faculty, visiting artists, staff and students at this under-the-radar event. In addition to the auction, the event also includes a barbecue in the midst of the ranch’s gorgeous surrounds. Lunch from 11:45AM-12:15PM; auction begins promptly at 12:15PM (so don’t be late!). 5. Dancing for the Dogs and Cats, July 12

Dress in your best '70s disco attire, and get ready to get down during a night of dinner, drinks, disco dancing (to the tunes of Boogie Machine), and live and silent auctions under the stars—all to benefit Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter. The evening also includes a chance to check out adoptable shelter pets. 6:30PM. Tickets $300 for general admission, $550 for VIP admission, $3,500 for standard table (10 people) and $7,500 for VIP table (12 people).
