Whether you’re sticking to a strict diet or simply get a craving for a vegetable-driven dish, look to these local restos offering up the best of the best in natural eats for the city’s vegans, vegetarians and healthy foodies alike.

1. Newly revamped Aria may just be the only place in town where even vegans can indulge in a steak. The cauliflower steak from Moore Family Farms—roasted and spiced with chef Gerry Klaskala’s savory combination of Georgia pecans, arugula, golden raisins and cilantro chimichurri—is listed on a supplemental vegetarian and vegan menu. 490 E. Paces Ferry Road NE, 404.233.7673

2. Gypsy Kitchen’s authentic Mediterranean salad (fatoush) will have you coming back soon after you’ve left. Complete with eggplant, crushed tomatoes, red onions, red peppers, toasted pita, bitter greens and arugula, the rainbow-colored, animal-byproduct-free dish comes lightly dressed with a lemon sumac vinaigrette. The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, 404.939.9840

3. Follow the star-studded ceiling and iridescent white columns into Kyma, where an entire menu at the elevated Greek restaurant is dedicated to vegan and vegetarian dishes. Indulge in chef Pano Karatassos’ braised salsify topped with wild mushrooms, pickled pearl onions and garlic confit, all in a sherry mushroom broth. 3085 Piedmont Road NE, 404.262.0702

4. Try your palate for chef Anthony Galletta’s European fare, and end the night on a sweet note at Mediterranea Restaurant & Bakery. The aroma from a vegan spiced-pear tart fills the air with warm notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, and is made with a dash of clove, rum and orange juice. Topping it off, the pastry is showcased atop toasted oat, almond and pecan crust. 332 Ormond St. SE, 404.748.4219

5. Nestled on the second floor of the Porsche Experience Center, Restaurant 356 offers more than a front-row seat overlooking the world-class 1.6. mile track. Colorfully plated, the farmers market vegetable medley sits on a bed of black rice. Keeping seasonal produce in mind, chef Ensan Wong amps up the nutrition for this customer favorite with fried avocado, zucchini squash, rainbow carrots, heirloom cherry tomatoes, turnips, corn kernels and fresh herbs. 1 Porsche Drive, 770.290.4356
