Lauren Cobey & Ryan Long

June 9, 2012 | Terzo Piano at the AIC

With our sparkling skyline as their backdrop, Lauren and Ryan shared their first dance at Terzo Piano to “Feel It All” by Feist. The bride wore a strapless gown from Vera Wang.

The ceremony setting on Bluhm Terrace.

The bride’s beautiful bouquet by Kehoe Designs.

Lauren donned Dior shoes from Neiman Marcus and baubles from The Left Bank—and a spritz of L’Eau de Chloé perfume!

The artful dessert by Cake: Sweet Food Chicago.

Kehoe Designs dotted the head table with revel roses.

The couple
With their Goldendoodle looking on, Ryan proposed to Lauren in their Bucktown home. They celebrated with dinner at The Bristol, which would later become the pair’s rehearsal dinner site.

The details
LOLA Event Productions planned the party, and Bon Appetit customized the dinner menu (think charcuterie samplings and spring pea soup).

The party
Lauren’s father, Mitchell, made homemade truffles and candies to satisfy sweet tooths. Bluegrass band Rick Pickren & The Bashful Brothers kept partygoers’ toes tapping.
