As more couples take advantage of the temperate Texas autumn, October is the new June. And when in doubt, savvy brides let the beauti-fall season set the stage for their nuptials, incorporating warm colors, rich textures and earthy elements like pinecones and leaves into their invitation suites. “It’s important to choose the right colors and design that speaks to who you are as a couple—and what guests can expect at the wedding,” says Karee Laing of Koby and Kylie Co. Invitations + Paperie + Stationery (832.350.8458). “Every unique symbol, color, element and detail matters; it’s the little things that count,” says Laing, who designs a special, hand-lined envelope and return address label for every invitation. “It’s the little things that guests will remember.”
