Terling Lee & Raymond Adorno

Dec. 30, 2012 | Las Velas

Terling and Raymond picked Las Velas for its villa atmosphere, but more importantly, they were confident the bride’s mom would approve of the venue.

Terling discovered her dress during an overseas work trip.

The almond amaretto cake is from Phoenicia.

Family and friends assisted in the wedding planning and details.

The groomsmen wore Stacy Adams Whitby wing-tips.

The couple
“Terling travels to many different places worldwide and she was the first person I’ve met that has traveled to more places [than me],” says Raymond. The couple connected during their courtship by sharing travel stories and later, travel experiences.

The Details
Unsure of what they wanted in a venue, they visited Las Velas. “It felt like we walked into our own personal villa with beautiful stonework and fountains,” says Raymond.

The Party
“We had about 180 guests and our wedding had a mixture of speeches, games and lots and lots of dancing,” says Raymond. “Our friend DJ’ed for us and commented that it was the most ‘danced’ wedding he ever saw.”
