Brute Revisions: An Inspired Dinner at Blackbird, ft. Artist Michelle Marrocco

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Blackbird’s unique aesthetic design and the restaurant’s relationship with the artist community has stood the test of time over its 20-year span in the West Loop. On Monday, April 23rd at 6:00pm, the James Beard award-winning restaurant has invited Chicago artist Michelle Marrocco for an evening exhibit and dinner influenced by her works, which are heavily influenced by works from the Medieval Era, the Italian Renaissance and the Modernist Art movement, often informed by mythological and biblical themes.
Chef Ryan Pfeiffer is collaborating with Marrocco in the same process by creating five courses inspired by various cultures and influential eras throughout European art history. Dishes and beverage pairings will be served in a chronological progression to highlight these distinct time periods. In this first solo exhibit, guests will be able to view Marrocco’s featured pieces on display as they dine and all works will be available for purchase. Here's a look at the full menu, with beverage pairings:
