The 10th annual Chicago Restaurant Week kicks off its two-week run on January 27th, and more than 300 of the city’s top toques are eager to show off their pre fixe creations. Here, five not-to-miss spots during the 14-day feast. Reservations recommended.

1. The Blanchard
This Lincoln Park brasserie has created a refined four-course dinner menu featuring decadent dishes like black truffle crusted foie gras and Grand Marnier-glazed duck a l’orange. $44 per person. 1935 N. Lincoln Park W., 872.829.3971

2. Cindy’s
The Chicago Athletic Hotel’s airy rooftop respite will be serving a fresh three-course menu featuring lunchtime classics (tomato soup and grilled cheese, anyone?). $22 per person. 12 S. Michigan Ave., 312.792.3502

3. El Che Bar
Don’t miss this buzzy Argentine-American resto’s four-course dinner menu packed with the chef’s signature wood-fired fare. To wit: a winter vegetable salad tossed in a charred kale vinaigrette and a 10-ounce brick layer ribeye with kicky chimichurri. $44 per person. 845 W. Washington Blvd., 312.265.1130
