Paramount pumpkin patch? Or art installation? Either way, immerse yourself in the vivid world of Yayoi Kusama at the Dallas Museum of Art.

Only Kusama could give Dallas a truly whimsical fall experience with a cache of the autumnal objects: pumpkins. Yayoi Kusama: All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins (2016) is the only Infinity Mirror Room of its kind in a North American collection. The surreal installation focuses on a series of gourds covered in the Japanese designer’s signature polka dots (which fashion fiends may recognize from her Louis Vuitton collaboration, circa 2012), playing with the idea of space and repetition. Once in the room designed to hold only two people at a time, you’ll have 45 seconds to document the immersive experience that is both fleeting and everlasting. Made possible by the TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art Fund and The Rachofsky Collection, the legendary infinity room is on view now through February. Oct. 1-Feb. 25, Dallas Museum of Art, 1717 N. Harwood St.
