Our Design District has become a haven for museums, various exhibits and superb cuisine.

In the last decade, the Dallas Design District has become an enclave of modern cuisine and ever-changing art exhibitions. Here, we highlight the scenes you need to experience now.

Viva Avant Garde: A Jeremy Scott Retrospective is open at Dallas Contemporary until March 17. The exhibit features over 100 of his designs from the past 20 years and video footage of runway shows. The presentation of his designs is minimalistic in a effort to keep the focus on the garments.

Have you been to Haas Moto Museum yet? It has over 180 motorcycles of all different makes and models and one of a kind bikes. After admiring the bold and colorful designs or the Haas Collection, it will probably be time for sips and snacks. Oak restaurant is just down the road, and it’s a spot known for its unique craft cocktail menu and filling entrees like the kobe sirloin burger. If you’re in the mood for a margarita made with a fresh lime juice or a warm bowl of queso, El Bolero is also right around the corner. The menu features authentic Mexican dishes and cinnamon churros that melt in your mouth for dessert.
