It was a nostalgic night at The Birthday Party Project’s sensational sixth birthday celebration held at The Bomb Factory.
THE PARTY The Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum transformed into a toy town for Dallas-based nonprofit The Birthday Party Project’s sixth birthday. Engage Summits’ Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce were honored, as well as Jamie and Brian O’Boyle, for their contributions over the last six years. Georgia Bridgwater Orchestra and DJ Souljah kept the crowd entertained as people noshed on culinary creations from an array of Dallas purveyors. THE GUESTS Founder and CEO Paige Chenault, and co-chairs Lauren Heiler and Emily Clarke welcomed guests such as Kaleta Blaffer Johnson, Emma Miller, Jordan Spieth, Robyn Sills, and Morgan and Andrew Pieper, all dressed as their childhood favorite toys. THE HIGHLIGHTS Dedicated to bringing joy through the magic of birthdays to children living in homeless shelters across the country, the nonprofit raised an astounding $550,000 through silent and live auctions for major birthday party projects in the works. -Krystal Sarna
