Tiffany & Co. celebrated its new store in Waikiki with a grand opening that featured cosmopolitan details from New York City, the iconic brand’s birthplace.
THE PARTY Tiffany & Co.’s newest three-story store at the Royal Hawaiian Center opened with a grand celebration that included the brand’s signature Fifth Avenue elegance and charm. Guests toasted the store’s vibrant location with flutes of Dom Perignon before perusing three floors of collections while enjoying delicate hors d’oeuvres. THE SCENE Japanese model Jun Hasegawa and Tiffany & Co. CEO Alessandro Bogliolo flew in for the special occasion, and Daniel Dae Kim and Magnum P.I. reboot actors Jay Hernandez and Zachary Knighton took a break from filming the new series to celebrate with Tiffany & Co. THE HIGHLIGHTS The Royal Hawaiian’s world-famous Mai Tai Bar provided custom Tiffany cocktails while mini eclairs, cream puffs, Tiffany Blue macarons, bonbons and other miniature desserts delighted guests. Meanwhile, artists “Kelly Boy” and Kapena DeLima entertained guests with a lovely selection of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian songs. To top off an extraordinary evening, a life-size greenhouse served as a photo booth, where attendees could take pictures against a Tiffany Blue backdrop decorated with tropical flora.
