Dine out deliciously on a dime while helping out the Houston Food Bank. Houston Restaurant Weeks runs from August 1 through September 4 with over 200 hundred spots to choose and a wide variety of cuisines.

La Table
Choose between weekend brunch ($22), lunch ($20) or dinner ($45). Dinner brings such French inspired delicacies as caramelized cheese soufflé; watermelon and tomato salad; roasted salmon with asparagus risotto; Hudson Valley duck breast with duck jus, and irresistible house made desserts. 1800 Post Oak Blvd., 713.439.1000

Le Colonial
Three-course dinner menu ($45) includes a starter of spring or summer rolls or bahn cuon, Hanoi steamed ravioli with chicken and chili lime garlic sauce. Segue to grilled salmon with mango sauce or a warm filet mignon salad with watercress and snow peas. Fun desserts include the chocolate mousse dome atop red velvet biscuit or the Le Colonial mango sundae. 4444 Westheimer Rd., G-140, 713.629.4444

Liberty Kitchen
All four Liberty Kitchens are participating in HRW with lunch ($20), brunch ($22) and dinner ($35) menus. Look for a hearty three-course dinner including a trio of oysters; redfish of the half shell and warm Creole bacon salad; blackened pork chop with smashed potatoes, and sinful desserts like strawberries and butter toasted angel food cake. 1050 Studewood St., 713.802.0533, and other locations

Potente
Chef Danny Trace is crafting a four-course dinner ($45) that melds Italian preparations with local ingredients. Think burrata caprese to start, and entrée options including an eight-ounce beef filet with garlic-whipped potatoes or spicy pasta fra diavolo with Texas shrimp. Don’t pass up the signature apple galette for dessert! 1515 Texas Ave., 713.237.1515

Relish
Hit this River Oaks restaurant for elevated American comfort food. The three-course dinner ($35) includes duck liver mousse or a whole grilled artichoke to start. Entrée options consist of New Orleans BBQ shrimp, fried chicken, or an eight-ounce filet with pommes frites and Bordelaise sauce. 2810 Westheimer Rd., 713.599.1960
