“Because my husband has a gallery, and I am involved with Exhibition A, I could never play favorites [with artists]. But if I had to name a few they would be Genieve Figgis, Lucien Smith, William Eadon, Daniel Heidkamp, and Justin Adian.”

“Buddy System” by Daniel Heidkamp, edition of 35, $500

“My perennial favorite [outfit] is always a wetsuit or something from our fitness collection. But if I have to wear real clothes, I’m excited about all the lace and printed brocade Cynthia Rowley pieces for fall.”

Jacquard slit front dress, $425

“I love a far-flung adventure and always go with family in tow—camping in the Serengeti with &Beyond, a family surf trip or visiting monasteries in Bhutan. The more exotic the better.”

“Interiors and furniture have been a passion of mine ever since I can remember,” says fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, who launches her debut furniture collection with Hooker Furniture at High Point Market this fall. Known for her eye-popping prints and fun, flirty style, Rowley’s collections include an apparel, accessories, shoe and jewelry line, a beauty partnership with Birchbox and eyewear, just to name a few. While Rowley’s coquettish cocktail dresses are sold in more than 60 branded boutiques as well as department stores nationwide, the Hooker collaboration marks the celebrated designer’s first foray into home furnishings. “Fashion and style reach beyond clothes.... It’s the art of living. I want to create furniture that will brighten your space and make your home a happy place!” Here, the designer shares her fashionable finds. $399-$3,499, California Furniture Galleries, 7939 Canoga Ave., Canoga Park, 818.883.0890
