Best Shop for Handbags: Bella Bag

AROUND TOWN

Best Park: Piedmont Park
It’s rare to see a sunny day in the A where locals don’t flock to this expansive green space. The well-kept grounds house dog parks, bike paths, a plethora of picnic-perfect spots, a swimming pool, bocce courts, dining ops and so much more. Midtown, @piedmontpark

Best Concert Venue: Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater
Blink and you’ll miss this hidden outdoor gem off of Roswell Road. Chastain is home to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and has seen countless acts since 1973, including the Beach Boys, Pet Shop Boys, Darius Rucker and Sara Bareilles. Buckhead, @chastainparkamp

Best Golf Course: East Lake Golf Club
Surprisingly, this club began sans golf—but it did have a big-name member, John Heisman, who was the club’s athletic director in the early 1900s. Now, the restored Donald Ross-designed course attracts major national and regional championships to its more than 7,300 acres. East Atlanta, @eastlakegc

Best Annual Event: Jeffrey Fashion Cares
This hotly anticipated annual fundraising event always attracts the high-fashion set, who dress to the nines for an action-packed cocktail hour, fashion show and live auction benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Atlanta AIDS Fund. Downtown, @fashioncares

Best Outdoor Festival: TomorrowWorld
As far as music fests with hundreds of artists and plenty of VIP perks go (camping amenities, cocktail bars), it doesn’t get much better than TomorrowWorld. The Belgium-born festival made its stateside debut last year in ATL, and we’re greatly anticipating its return this fall. Chattahoochee Hills, @tomorrowworld

Best Country Club: Capital City Club
One of the oldest social orgs in the South, the exclusive 132-year-old Capital City Club is still the one to be in, with three prime dining options, a fireside room, a pool, a fitness center, and tennis and golf courses. Brookhaven

Best Hiking Spot: Kennesaw Mountain
Multiple scenic trails, plentiful natural surroundings and breathtaking views abound at the historic Kennesaw Mountain, so it’s no wonder the Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club was recently awarded a grant from stewardship partner REI. Kennesaw, @kennesawnps
