Real talk: Most people find my owners, Erica Pelosini and Louis Leeman, pretty posh—after all, she’s a stylist, editor and creative director for fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and he’s designer of Louis Leeman handmade Italian shoes. But to me, Cashmere, they’re just mom and dad. Look, I don’t want to make other golden retrievers jealous, but my life is literally droolworthy: I chronicle my Burberry-and-Chanel-clad adventures on my Instagram account @CashmereTheGolden, where I’m often spotted in the front seat of a Rolls or Lambo. (Oh, sorry: Your dog doesn’t have an Insta?) Naturally, I’m a model myself, gracing the pages of fashion bibles like Vogue, and I take after my parents as a designer, too—I have an upcoming collaboration with Max Bone in the pet trunk show for Moda Operandi. In my rare downtime, I like tooling around in my mini puppy Mercedes G-Wagon, which I received for Christmas this year, brunching with my brother Zeffirelli, or hanging at the Polo Lounge. Mom’s always on the go for fashion week, but no dog nanny for me—I simply travel with her. (And I’ve often been found snuggling under a cozy duvet in First.) Recent stops included Florence, London, Paris, New York, Greece, Rome and my fave: snowy Aspen. When your mom is a jet-settling stylist, your life is lived in the world’s most iconic hotels. You name it, I’ve sniffed it. Ritz Paris? Woof. Rosewood London? Woof. The Little Nell? Double woof. I even have celeb pals—Christie Brinkley gives the best belly rubs. But no matter how many glamorous places I travel, celebs I bark at, or private jets I catch, my favorite place is home, sweet home: Beverly Hills, snuggling up next to my humans. Shh. Don’t tell my IG fans. Don’t want to spoil the illusion.
