Fall is in the air—yes, even in Miami. Welcome the new season with any of the specialties from these new autumn menus.

French Flair

The chic bistro at Bal Harbour Shops, Le Zoo is unveiling a range of updates this season, including a refreshed menu, a wood-fired pizza oven and new decor accents. The new menu is a celebration of timeless French-Mediterranean flavors with highlights that include bouillabaisse for two with sea bass, mussels and clams poached in fennel broth; and prawns flambé with grilled Provençal vegetables. 9700 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour, 305.602.9663

Turning Japanese
There’s no traditional pumpkin spice or apple flavors at Sushi Garage. Executive Chef Sunny Oh’s fall dishes are all about Japanese twists with ingredients like nashi pear, Napa cabbage and Chinese broccoli. Selections include pork belly, short rib gyoza dumplings and Maine lobster served with uni butter. 1784 West Ave., Miami Beach, 305.763.8355

Sprucing Sprouts
Fall is the best time to get your Brussels sprouts fix. At Leynia, chef José Icardi prepares his version with sweet and sour sauce and tops them with bacon. These can be enjoyed with entrees that include duck confit risotto with foie gras and fresh herbs; lamb pappardelle with braised lamb and ricotta; and short rib ravioli with truffle essence and thyme. Delano, 1685 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.672.2000

French & Fabulous
Bagatelle has become a staple in the South Beach culinary scene thanks to its St. Tropez-inspired cuisine. The restaurant’s new menu features plenty of fall-appropriate selections, but our vote goes to the farm-raised truffle chicken with country-style potatoes, caramelized cipollini onions, button mushrooms and thyme. 220 21st St., Miami Beach, 305.704.3900

Pasta Perfection

Looking for a pasta option? Fi’Lia’s short rib crespelle is a winning selection and that all has to do with its mix of melted tallegio and fontina, which makes it one of the best melted-cheese masterpieces in Miami. SLS Brickell, 1300 S. Miami Ave., Miami, 305.239.1330
