As temperatures rise, smoothies save the day with a refreshing dose of flavor that’s oh-so-good... and good for you.

Pure Goodness

South Beach health haven Pura Vida draws fans who love the venue’s organic acai bowls, smoothies and all-day breakfasts. Now, Pura Vida’s goodness is available at one of South Beach’s most luxurious hotels, The Setai. Locally sourced wellness shots (The Detox, The Flu Shot) and bottle juices, in flavors such as Green Deluxe and Lulu’s Lemon, are available at The Setai’s Grand Breakfast at Jaya, at the restaurant’s Sunday Jazz Brunch, from in-suite dining, at the Ocean Grill restaurant, pool and the beach. $7–$12, The Setai, 2001 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.520.6000

Gym Grub
If you love a local success story, you’ll want to meet Miami resident Chris Kingen, a former celebrity bodyguard whose Wellness Grub farm-to-bottle juice bar concept is now available inside seven Equinox centers in the U.S., including four right here in Miami. Drinks include the Green Protein Ultra smoothie, the Citrus Glo and the beet-red Tru Blood juice (all from $2). All are packed with antioxidants, but the choice is yours.

Hall Monitor

It makes sense that a wellness-focused food hall would have a go-to smoothie joint. At Jackson Hall, the spot is Radiate Apothecary + Bar, which serves juices, smoothies, kombucha and other tonics and elixirs (as well as wine, cocktails and coffee). Bottled juices and smoothies include Charcoal Lemonade, made with activated charcoal and bee pollen, Cashew Chai and Matcha Mylk. From $6, Jackson Hall, Second floor, 1050 NW 14th St., Miami, 786.529.3013

Positive Thinking

If every storm has a silver lining, at W South Beach, last year’s tumultuous season resulted in a new outdoor bar, designed using salvaged tree branches left behind in the wake of Hurricane Irma. The name? Irma’s, of course. It’s the perfect spot for a green smoothie, or a fruity variety such as banana berry or papaya guava. More varieties—strawberry coconut, kiwi mango passion and mixed berry—are available by the pool. $12–$16, W South Beach, 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305.938.3000

Multiple Choice
When a whole resort is geared toward healthy living, you know there must be good smoothies on the premises. At the Carillon, you’ll find the perfect fuel for the resort’s packed schedule of fitness classes at The Corner Store, a modern juice and smoothie bar where the concoctions include The Calm (strawberry, coconut water, lime pineapple, basil) and The Real Deal, a multi-tasker made with blueberries, honey, coconut milk, banana, raw chocolate nibs, wheat grass, goji berries, blue green algae and cinnamon. $10, Carillon, 6801 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 866.800.3858
