MIAMI magazine celebrated the launch of the inaugural Real Estate Issue with a soiree at Addison House in Aventura, where eight of the area's top developers were invited to showcase their properties by bringing their luxury amenities to life. Shoma Group paid tribute to the nightlife scene of their upcoming retail project City Place with the mixologists of Bar Lab, who whipped up specialty cocktails that delighted the senses. Giving a nod to their waterfront property, Marina Palms invited the Buffettes dressed in sailor outfits to shine shoes while the Grove at Grand Bay brought in Chef Richard Henry to provide a sampling of the dishes that will be served in his signature restaurant. Crimson Miami touted their top of the line yoga studio by inviting two yogis to show off their moves while guests also were offered complimentary juices. In the 1010 Brickell space, the family-friendly development offered attendees a chance to try their skills at a pop-a-shot booth and massages to ease tensions. Jade Signature set up a movie lounge to screen their movie, complete with popcorn buckets. Elsewhere, 1 Hotel & Homes played up their eco-friendly platform at an organic prosecco bar and NINE's photobooth let guests pose, holding a sign of their favorite pillar of the new Mary Brickell Village project. While attendees weren't interacting with the projects, they enjoyed bites from MG Events, stopped at bars featuring Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Zonin Prosecco, REYKA Vodka and Monkey Shoulder Whisky, and danced to the beat of DJ Danny of Miami’s Soundwave DJ’s. As a special surprise, the Florida Grand Opera brought in four of their stellar performers who regaled guests with an interactive, random act of opera which highlighted the night.
