Last Thursday, Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq. celebrated his 30th anniversary in the law practice and his long standing commitment to the South Florida community with the inauguration of the new office of his firm, the Jorge Luis Lopez Law Firm, in Grand Bay Plaza, Coconut Grove.
Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq. holds his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami - School of Law, where he is a University of Miami Iron Arrow member. He has been practicing law since 1987, established his own boutique law firm in Coral Gables, Florida in 2007, and has been recognized as one of the top governmental affairs lawyers in South Florida as well as an expert in elections, campaigns and administrative law.
Furthermore, Mr. Lopez and his wife, Marile Lopez, have been involved in the philanthropic community for 30 years.
Throughout his professional career, Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq. has also been recognized by numerous publications for his contributions to the field — among them the South Florida Legal Guide, Legal Elite, and Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Lopez’ 30 year legacy is further complimented by his philanthropic work for charitable organizations in National and South Florida communities. As part of the celebration, Fr. Richard Vigoa, the Lopez family’s spiritual counselor and friend as well as Priest Secretary to the Archbishop of Miami, Archbishop Thomas Wenski, blessed the new Coconut Grove offices.
