For Natasha and Josh, all it took was a blind date to bring them together. With a big-day vision of classic elegance, Natasha and Josh looked to The Biltmore Hotel.

“There is so much character everywhere you look,” says Natasha. Choosing a traditional palette of white and gold, the couple worked with Jessica and Michael Masi on details like amber lighting and mirrored surfaces. “I wanted candles everywhere,” shares Natasha. “The mirrors reflected the candlelight, giving it that romantic feel we wanted.”

After a four-course meal featuring burrata salad, tomato gnocchi soup, filet mignon and Chilean sea bass, a five-tiered Key lime cake by Todo Dulces became the star of the show—until the surprise hora loca, that is. “Since my father is Cuban and the wedding was in Miami, we wanted to incorporate salsa dancers to bring up the energy and get everyone out on the dance floor,” says Natasha. “The New Century dancers showed up in elaborate white costumes and made a high-energy entrance.” When the night wound down, the partying duo was off on a weeklong trip to Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort in Cancún.

Greivy and Jonathan’s chemistry began when they were seniors in college and taking organic chemistry together. “I knew immediately he was the one for me,” says Greivy. On their first dating anniversary, Jonathan planned a modern Cinderella moment for Greivy, who was looking for sneakers to match her uniform as a first-year dental student. After she tried on the right shoe, Jonathan insisted she also try the left. “As I argued with him why I must try on both shoes, a Tiffany & Co. box fell out,” says Greivy. Jonathan got on one knee and proposed with a Tiffany Soleste canary yellow diamond.

For their big day, Greivy and Jonathan fell for Trump National Doral Miami. “I could say it was love at first site,” jokes Greivy. “It was grand and luxurious, and the chandeliers were to die for.” Greivy felt an immediate connection with Yesenia Perez of The Event Studio Inc., who brought to life the couple’s vision of “a Carrie Bradshaw marrying Mr. Big type of wedding”—down to Greivy’s blue Manolos. To help execute a day that was “elegant, classy and a little over the top,” as Greivy explains, Perez and Petal Productions worked a combination of gold and ivory into every detail of the Crystal Ballroom, including the bride’s surprise bouquet of peonies.

Dinner began with a bouquet of baby greens and endives drizzled with a Champagne vinaigrette and ended with filet mignon in a red wine reduction. Guests partied while The Event Factor provided the hits, and made use of the couple’s own Snapchat geofilter. “My photographer surprised us with it!” says Greivy. After dancing the night away, the couple traveled to Athens, Greece, for a 10-day excursion through the country, including Santorini and Mykonos.

It may come as no surprise attorneys Jillian and Josh met in law school—in a family law class, no less. The two quickly hit it off. After four years together, Josh proposed against a sunset backdrop followed by a celebration with family and friends.

A year later, the couple tied the knot in Coral Gables. Inspired by the Biltmore Hotel’s Old World charm, Jillian and Josh worked with Jamie Lipman of Absolute Event. “Jamie understood the warm and special experience we wanted to create for our guests,” says Jillian. Warmth came from a palette of neutrals with touches of gold. Petal Productions crafted a chuppah made of trees filled with white orchids and surrounded by candles for the courtyard ceremony. Another ceremony highlight was a surprise gospel choir performance as Jillian and Josh were announced husband and wife. “Josh and I were completely shocked and relished the moment singing and dancing,” says the bride.

During the reception, guests dined on fillet of chateaubriand or miso-glazed Chilean sea bass. Besides a delicious cake by Ana Paz, there was a doughnut wall set up for guests to grab and go on their way home. The newlyweds jetted off for a two-week honeymoon in Korea, Thailand and Japan.
