Bridal Sign Up

Hearts of Gold

Inside a luxe Miami ballroom decked out in blush and gold accents, a young couple celebrates with distinguished guests from coast to coast.

The groom wore a custom-made white jacket with a satin black lapel and pink pocket square from Sirvanti, while the bride looked stunning from head to toe in her Maggie Sottero heart-shaped backless gown.

The bride carried a boho chic bouquet made of white and blush roses with eucalyptus accents.

Alexandra wore sparkling Sergio Rossi heels.

As fate would have it, Alexandra Tovshteyn and Adam Mait ended up celebrating Passover together at Rok Family Shul in downtown Miami. Alexandra was in town from California and the second Adam laid eyes on her, he struck up a friendly conversation and invited her to enjoy the holiday dinner at his table. Sparks flew and after accepting a new job in Miami, Alexandra moved to the Magic City where their new relationship flourished. Fast-forward two years later when Adam proposed to Alexandra in front of the same shul where they had first met.

Desiring a classy and romantic affair, the couple hired Liz May and Lizzie Eisenberg of Elizabeth Orange Events to plan their dream wedding featuring blush colors and gold accents. “They are truly a dynamic duo,” says Alexandra of their wedding planners. “They went above and beyond to make every moment enjoyable and stress-free.” The couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony at Beth David Congregation, Miami’s first synagogue, and then guests dined and danced the night away inside a grand ballroom with chandeliers ablaze.

One of the highlights of the evening, Adam dazzled the crowd with his breakdancing skills—wearing Chuck Taylors, like the rest of his groomsmen, and the wedding party hoisted the couple onto their shoulders to much fanfare and delight. “We wish we could live that moment over and over again,” says the bride. “We truly felt the love from all of our family and friends.”

The happy couple escaped for two adventurous weeks in Patagonia and the Colchagua wine region of Chile.
